Work begins on new sports pavilion in Los Alcázares
The Town Hall of Los Alcázares invests in providing a wider range of sports facilities for residents
Work has begun in Los Alcázares on a new 1,500-square-metre sports Pavilion alongside the Pabellón 13 de Octubre and it is anticipated that by the end of 2025 it will be open to the public, widening the range of sports which locals can take part in.
At the same time, the new building will be adequately equipped to hold high-level sporting events, according to Mayor Mario Pérez Cervera, who visited the site this week.
The new facility has been financed by an investment of 650,000 euros in response to the needs identified by sports clubs and associations in the municipality, and will host disciplines such as rhythmic gymnastics, handball and futsal.
