Until November 30 Belleza Escondida, hidden architectural treasures capture in photographs

Discover some of the least visible elements of the city’s heritage at the Palacio de Guevara in Lorca

This collection of 14 photographic panels at the of Lorca at the Palacio de Guevara in Lorca illustrates some of the hidden architectural details of the monumental buildings in the city centre, such as gargoyles and sculptures which are high above the ground and are therefore seldom if ever seen by members of the public.

Each panel is accompanied by an explanatory text which can be accessed via a QR code, bringing life and meaning to some of the balconies, cornices, window grilles and other elements which are a near-invisible part of Lorca’s identity.

The exhibition remains open until 30^th November during the normal opening hours of the Palacio de Guevara (Tuesday to Sunday mornings 10.30 to 14.00 and afternoons 16.30 to 20.00).
