Los Alcazares Today is a website set up by Murcia Today specifically for residents of the urbanisation in Southwest Murcia, providing news and information on what’s happening in the local area, which is the largest English-speaking expat area in the Region of Murcia.
When submitting text to be included on Los Alcazares Today, please abide by the following guidelines so we can upload your article as swiftly as possible:
Send an email to editor@spaintodayonline.com or contact@murciatoday.com
Attach the information in a Word Document or Google Doc
Include all relevant points, including:
Who is the organisation running the event?
Where is it happening?
When?
How much does it cost?
Is it necessary to book beforehand, or can people just show up on the day?
…but try not to exceed 300 words
Also attach a photo to illustrate your article, no more than 100kb
Until August 12 Exhibition by artist Omar Daf in Caravaca de la Cruz
“Blu” can be seen at the Convento de San José in Caravaca
The cloisters of the former Convent or Monastery of San José in Caravaca de la Cruz are hosting an exhibition of paintings by artist Omar Daf until 12th August under the title of “Blu”, reflecting the inspiration drawn by the artist from the Mediterranean Sea.
Omar Dar is the pseudonym of engineer Luis Bernardeau, and his works are transfused with references to music, poetry and surfing kin their intense colours and textures.
“Blu” can be visited until 12th August during the following opening hours:
Weekdays: 10.00 to 14.00 and 16.30 to 19.30
Saturdays: 10.30 to 14.00 and 16.30 to 19.30
Sundays: 10.30 to 14.00
This exhibition is being held under the umbrella of the “Plan de Espacios Expositivos” project, which in turn works with 32 municipalities to support creative artists throughout the Region of Murcia.
