The movie showing in its original English-language version with Spanish subtitles at the Cinemax cinema in the Parque Almenara shopping centre in Lorca this Thursday August 14 is the next in the series from the 80s classic Karate Kid starring Jackie Chan, Ralph Macchio.

After a family tragedy, kung fu prodigy Li Fong is forced to leave his home in Beijing and move to New York City with his mother. Li struggles to leave his past behind while trying to fit in with his new classmates, and although he doesn't want to fight, trouble seems to find him everywhere. When a new friend needs his help, Li enters a karate competition, but his skills aren't enough. Li's kung fu teacher, Mr. Han, enlists the help of the original Karate Kid, Daniel LaRusso, and Li learns a new way to fight, fusing his two styles into one for the ultimate martial arts showdown. New film in the "Karate Kid" saga, connected to the "Cobra Kai" universe.
