Terra Natura Murcia opens the water season with a new splash of excitement
Aqua Natura Murcia has unveiled Tornado, a fast new slide with special effects, a launch offer and a lively opening day

Terra Natura Murcia is getting the summer season underway with a new attraction that is sure to catch the attention of anyone who enjoys a bit of adventure on a hot day. From May 23, at Aqua Natura Murcia, the park is introducing Tornado, a brand new enclosed slide that adds something fresh to the water park experience.
This is not your average slide. Riders set off from almost 17 metres up and can reach speeds of around 40 km/h, depending on their weight. Along the way, there are some surprises to keep things interesting, so it is very much aimed at those who like a livelier ride and do not mind a few twists and turns.
The finish is especially eye-catching. Tornado ends in a large funnel where riders spin several times before dropping through the centre into a 1.8-metre-deep pool. It sounds like the kind of attraction that will have plenty of people wanting to try it at least once, even if they are a little nervous at the top.
The slide is located in the upper part of Aqua Natura Murcia, next to the entrance to the other slides, and it is open to visitors over 1.20 metres tall. That makes it a good choice for older children, teenagers and adults who want something a little more energetic than a gentle float around the pool.
Gustavo Martínez, director of Terra Natura Murcia, said the new attraction “strengthens our family leisure offering and adds a new experience to the facilities, aimed at providing plenty of entertainment options for visitors looking for a refreshing, dynamic day full of adrenaline.”

To celebrate the launch, Terra Natura Murcia is also offering day tickets for €15, with the same price for adults and children aged three and over. That makes it an easy and affordable option for a family day out, especially with music, dancing and entertainment also planned for the opening.
With Tornado now part of the line-up, Terra Natura Murcia has added a fresh new reason to plan a visit this summer. If you like your days out with a little more pace and a lot more splash, this one is definitely worth a look.
