Terra Natura Murcia is bringing the fun this summer with foam parties, giant games and a brand-new water slide
From karaoke sessions to the Teen Camp, Aqua Natura has everything you need to make this summer one to remember
If you're looking for a way to keep the whole family entertained this summer without melting in the heat, Terra Natura Murcia might just have the answer. The park's Aqua Natura water park is ramping things up this season with a packed programme of activities, a brand-new ride, and plenty of reasons to get the kids (and yourselves) off the sofa.
Something new this summer: meet the Tornado
The headline addition for 2025 is a new enclosed water slide called the Tornado, standing at an impressive 17 metres high and reaching speeds of around 40 kilometres per hour. "This year we're adding an extra thrill with our new Tornado attraction," said park director Gustavo Martínez, who described Aqua Natura as "one of the main attractions to beat the high temperatures we're expecting" this summer. It sounds like quite the ride.
A summer full of activities for all the family
Beyond the new slide, the park has put together a lively seasonal programme that really does have something for everyone:
- Dance Natura brings choreographed sessions to the poolside, led by the entertainment team and featuring costumed characters. Themes range from the savanna and Hawaiian vibes to full-on pirate adventures, rotating throughout the season so there's always something fresh.
- Workshops and creative activities include crafts, giant board games, and projects using recycled materials. It's hands-on fun with a thoughtful edge, reflecting the park's commitment to mixing leisure with a little learning.
- Karaoke sessions for anyone who fancies their moment in the spotlight.
- Foam parties, which, let's be honest, are a summertime classic for a reason.
Something for the younger ones
The park's children's summer school, Guardians of the Water, is already up and running for youngsters aged 3 to 12, with a programme built around nature, animals and water-based fun [May 27 article]. Alongside that, the Teen Camp caters for older children aged 12 to 16, and the park is also welcoming visiting school groups, summer camps, sports campuses and children's organisations as part of their excursion programme. All in all, it's shaping up to be a very busy summer.
The Teen Camp: back for its eighth year
For families with teenagers, the Terra Natura Teen Camp returns for its eighth consecutive year, running from 23rd June to 7th September for young people aged 12 to 16. The daily programme (9am to 2:30pm, with an early drop-off option from 7:30am) is built around a different theme each week, this year under the banner of Tor Experience.
Activities include water games, urban art, photography, mobile editing, DJ workshops, Zumba, team challenges, TikTok reels and much more. The zoo is also part of the experience, giving teenagers a chance to connect with nature alongside all the creative and social activities. The new Tornado slide features here too, so they won't be missing out on the big attraction.
Places are limited, so if you'd like to register or find out more, you can contact the park directly at escueladeveranomurcia@terranatura.com or call 664 264 461.

Terra Natura Murcia has already been building towards what promises to be a brilliant season and promises to be one of the region's most enjoyable family destinations this summer.
Whether you're after a splash-filled day out or a structured summer camp for the teens, Aqua Natura is well worth a visit.
