Whether you’re after a cosy Sunday roast, a midweek treat or a night of music and laughter, La Palmera Bar & Grill has it all

Summer has officially given way to autumn, even if the Murcia weather hasn’t got the memo yet. As the days turn cooler and the evenings grow longer, there’s no better place to tantalise your taste buds and enjoy first-class entertainment than La Palmera Bar & Grill in Estrella de Mar, Los Urrutias, Murcia.
Alongside their always delectable selection of mouth-watering meats and smoky BBQ treats, La Palmera offers an unbeatable €10 three course lunch deal, a succulent Sunday lunch that’s available for sit-in or take-away, smoked roasts boards perfect for sharing and hearty breakfasts.
As if that wasn’t enough, they’ve just announced an incredible October live entertainment line-up to get you in the mood for the spooky season!

And that’s just the October events! Each and every week, La Palmera offers a range to music and entertainment to suit all ages and tastes, including karaoke, quizzes, discos, dance classes and more.

Those planning something special will be pleased to know the venue also hosts private parties and cfunctions. For a more laid back experience, guests can head to the on site bowls green, which is open every day for a casual game in the sunshine.
La Palmera is open from Tuesday to Sunday and closed on Mondays. Their all-day breakfast is served from 10am (no breakfasts on Sundays), while the daily menu is available from 12 noon untill 9pm.
Sunday lunch
Sundays at La Palmera are made for feasting. From 1pm to 5pm you can tuck into a proper roast with all the trimmings. Choose from beef, pork, chicken or go for a pre-ordered lamb shank, each served with Yorkshire puddings, fresh seasonal vegetables and rich gravy from just €9.95.
Bigger appetite? There’s an extra-large roast option waiting for you.
If you fancy something sweet, finish things off with one of the tempting starters or desserts; classics like prawn cocktail or indulgent Death by Chocolate are just €5.50.
You can dine in and soak up the atmosphere or take it away to enjoy in the comfort of your own home. Booking is a must though as tables go quickly.
And for something truly special, why not try the famous smoked roast boards that everyone talks about? Slow-smoked brisket, tender ribs and juicy chicken are served on sharing platters with roasted potatoes, veg, Yorkshire puddings and rich Guinness gravy.
Boards come in three sizes: the 2 Bob Board at €33, the 3 Bob Board at €45 or the 4 Bob Board at €60.
There are also lighter fish dishes and vegetarian specials so everyone can enjoy their perfect Sunday at La Palmera.
Menu del Dia – only €10
During the week, La Palmera makes dining out easy with its popular Menu del Dia. Served from 12pm to 9pm Tuesday to Friday, it’s just €10 per person for three delicious courses plus tea or coffee.
The menu changes all the time, keeping things fresh and exciting. Starters might include a scotch egg salad, duck spring rolls or a quiche Lorraine, while mains bring out hearty favourites like lasagna, cottage pie or bangers and mash. To finish, you could be tempted with banana split, lemon cake or a rich caramel slice.
Fridays also mean Fish Shop specials, so if you’re a seafood fan this one’s for you. Whether you dine in the welcoming restaurant or take your meal home, it’s incredible value at just €10.
