Spooky fun for all ages at Terra Natura Murcia's Halloween extravaganza
Two weekends of family activities plus a thrilling Halloween party on 31 October with games, magic, crafts and more
This Halloween, Terra Natura Murcia invites families to enjoy a unique celebration filled with fun, learning and a touch of mystery. Running over two weekends and culminating in a spectacular party on October 31, there’s plenty to keep visitors of all ages entertained both day and night.Halloween by day: Free with park admission
On Saturdays and Sundays, October 25 and 26 and November 1 and 2, from 11am to 5pm, Terra Natura welcomes families with a lively programme of games, crafts, dancing and storytelling:
- 11am to 1pm: Halloween games in Plaza Leones
- 1pm to 5pm: Create your own witch craft workshop in the Humedal (Wetland) area
- Dance sessions at 2pm, 3pm and 4pm in the Wetland zone
- Storytelling at 2.30pm, 3.30pm and 4.30pm in the Wetland zone
Children aged 3 to 12 will receive a pumpkin headband while supplies last, bringing a festive touch to their visit. Tickets for daytime activities cost €19 for adults, €15 for children and seniors – the same price online and at the box office.
The big Halloween party – October 31 (5.30pm to midnight)
The main event promises a magical evening for up to 500 guests who will explore the zoo on a free tour filled with themed activities:
- Beach bar zones with catrina menu and restaurant offerings at Isla and Humedal
- Fortune teller in the planetarium predicting visitors’ futures
- Haunted tattoos booth
- Legendary tales sharing animal myths and mysteries
- Popcorn stalls and dance lessons to shake your skeleton
- Craft workshops to decorate little ghosts
- Wizard magic performances with surprises
- Photo opportunities at the Mexican death-themed photocall
- Playroom with a bouncy castle and spooky games
All children aged 3 to 12 will receive a light-up headband while supplies last.
Tickets for the evening start from €15, with food options available. Visitors can purchase access plus a meal at the Isla or Humedal beach bars featuring a set menu including classic favourites like hot dogs, hamburgers or Caesar salad, or opt for a gourmet menu at the Carnívore Restaurant with dishes such as Iberian sirloin, risotto or BBQ ribs. Children’s gourmet menus are also offered.
Marketing Director Carmina Noguera describes the events as “an opportunity for families to enjoy this festival while getting to know our facilities and the different species that live here.”
Councillor José Guillén highlights that Terra Natura Murcia “is more than a zoo; it is a space for learning, respect and fun that connects children with nature and teaches them to care for it.” He adds that the park “will transform into a world of mystery and fantasy, filled with decorations, magical characters and surprises, creating a unique Halloween experience among animals and nature.”
