Spanish airlines launch huge January sales
Fly from several airports across Spain for as little as €21

The January sales in Spain aren’t just for fashion lovers this year as two of the country’s major airlines, Iberia and Air Europa, are going head to head, launching massive sales that mean you could be hopping on a plane for as little as €21 each way if you’re quick.
Iberia got the ball rolling by dropping its prices to some of the lowest we’re likely to see for 2026 travel. The campaign opened on Monday January 5 exclusively for members of the airline’s Iberia Club and opens up to everyone else on Thursday January 8.
Tickets are on sale until January 26 and you can book travel for much of the year, from January right through to December 10.
Domestic flights are where the real bargains are, with return fares from €21 on a host of routes out of Madrid to the likes of Ibiza, Granada, Oviedo and Pamplona. Slightly bigger Spanish cities such as Valencia, Alicante, Bilbao and Sevilla start at around €25, while Palma de Mallorca comes in from about €24. These are one way prices when you buy a return ticket, so savvy booking is key.
If flying across Europe is more your thing, Iberia again has you covered. Capitals like Lisbon start from around €25 each way, with London from about €43, Paris from €47 and Amsterdam from €66.
Want somewhere a bit cooler? Winter favourites like Tromsø in Norway are on offer from roughly €99, and Rovaniemi, the Finnish home of Father Christmas himself, is from around €139. Long haul travellers will not be left out either because flights to Orlando in the US start from approximately €205 each way, Toronto from about €235, and other North American hubs such as New York and Boston range from roughly €177 to €200.
Latin American hotspots such as Mexico City are on sale from about €245, Havana from around €278 and São Paulo from about €299. One of the headline grabbers? Tokyo is also on the list from €380.
On top of that, there are flight and hotel packages, such as a few nights in New York from €559 or a Disney filled Paris break from €429. Families chasing sunshine can even find a week in Orlando from about €1,029.
Not wanting to be left behind, Air Europa responded with its own ‘Time To Fly’ campaign. Kicking off right at the start of the year and running until January 18, this sale features flights from about €25 to many European routes, with Africa starting around €29 and longer journeys set at bargain prices too.
Stateside flights start from roughly €189 and routes into the Caribbean, Central and South America begin from around €275. The deal also covers flights within Spain and to the Middle East in some cases.
As usual, the quoted fares are each way on round trip purchases and do not include checked bags, so light travellers with just hand luggage will get the best deals.
So if you fancy a sun soaked weekend on one of Spain’s glorious islands or a big city break in Europe or further afield, now is the time to get searching and bag yourself a seat before these sales disappear.
