September 13 Family walk in the mountains of Sierra Espuña

A nature study activity for all areas at Las Alquerías in Totana

As the summer of 2026 ends – and it’s been a long, hot one! – here’s a fun walk for all the family in the slightly cooler air of the mountains of Sierra Espuña, taking place at the small mountain retreat of Las Alquerías (click for map) in the municipality of Totana.

This is a chance for families to enjoy the natural surroundings and learn about the flora, fauna and history of Sierra Espuña, seeing the diversity of the ecosystem here and focussing on some of the species which are typical of the area.

The morning ends with a workshop to create your very own nature study book or journal!

Organized by the PADISITO group, the activity has a registration cost of just 5 euros and those interested should make contact by telephone on 642 436575.
