Registration now open for the Vuelta Mar Menor Walking Tour this September
Sign up now for the Vuelta Mar Menor, one of the most popular sporting events of the summer in San Javier

The Vuelta al Mar Menor is back for another edition this September 6 and 7. Registration is now open for the XXIII Walking Tour of the Mar Menor, without doubt one of the most eagerly anticipated sporting events of the summer.
This scenic two-day adventure takes walkers on a 60-kilometre circular route around the stunning Mar Menor coastline. The journey begins on the morning of Saturday September 6 from the iconic Pilgrim sculpture on Paseo Colón in Santiago de la Ribera, with participants expected to return to the same point by early afternoon on Sunday the 7th.
Covering 40 kilometres on day one and 20 on day two, the walk features stops in some of the area’s most picturesque spots, including Los Alcázares, Punta Brava and Mar de Cristal.
After reaching the La Manga sports pavilion at kilometre 12, walkers will enjoy an overnight stay with a delicious barbecue to recharge for the return leg. The second stage winds back through La Llana beach and Lo Pagán, finishing where the adventure began.
Organised by the San Javier Town Council’s Department of Sports along with San Javier Water Polo Club, Chotacabras Club, Aidemar and the Athletics Federation of the Region of Murcia, the event draws walkers of all ages and fitness levels.
Registration is just €30 and includes refreshments along the route, assistance vehicles, accident insurance and overnight accommodation at the pavilion.

A great atmosphere, a spectacular coastal route and a fun-filled night make this a highlight of the late summer calendar.
To secure your spot, scan the barcode on the event poster or call 678 934 793 for further details.
