Parque de la Compañía in Molina de Segura

The main central park in Molina de Segura contains the open-air summer auditorium and is home to the weekly market

The Parque de la Compañía in Molina de Segura is one of the principal open public areas within the town of Molina de Segura and covers the vast area of 52,250 square metres.

The park has a wide variety of uses and also incorporates the open air summer auditorium, the "auditorio municipal", which hosts performances during the summer months and seats 1,200 people. The bar in the centre of the park is a popular meeting place, especially during the summer.

In addition, the park has children’s play areas, as well as areas with open-air exercise machines and a "pipicán", which is an area fenced off in which dogs can play and exercise off the lead.

The park is full of specimen trees and plants with many different varieties of palms, conifers and shrubs, creating a pleasant, shaded environment. On Saturday mornings, though, it becomes a hive of activity, as a very large market selling all kinds products is held every week, occupying practically the whole of the park: from fresh fruit to baby clothes, this is probably THE place to experience shopping in Molina de Segura!

Located in the centre of the town it is situated between Paseo Rosales, Calle Profesor Joaquín Abellán, Calle Mayor, Plaza de España and Avenida de la Industria, alongside the centro comercial Vega Plaza.
