October 5 Traditional town bands festival in Alhama de Murcia

The local band of Alhama is accompanied by guests from Pozo Estrecho in a parade and then at the church of San Lázaro Obispo

The 40^th annual “Festival de Bandas de Música” in Alhama de Murcia is being held on Sunday 5th October in the church of San Lázaro Obispo, featuring the band of the Sociedad Artístico Musical Santa Cecilia in Pozo Estrecho as guests alongside the local band of the Ateneo Músico Cultural Maestro José Antonio Ayala.

The two bands will meet up in the Plaza de las Américas at 19.15 for an official reception before a parade to the church, where the “official” festival gets under way at 20.00. Admission is free of charge.
