October 4 National folk music and dance festival in Alhama de Murcia

Groups from Murcia, Vélez Rubio and Portugal at the church of San Lázaro in Alhama

Coinciding with the first weekend of the annual Feria in Alhama de Murcia, the 45th edition of the annual folk music and dance festival is being held on Saturday 4th October at 22.00 in the church of San Lázaro Obispo.

The event is organized by the local Grupo de Coros y Danzas Virgen del Rosario de Alhama de Murcia and the other groups taking part are the - Asociación Grupo Folklórico Virgen de la Salud (from Vélez Rubio in Almería), the Grupo de Coros y Danzas Virgen de Atocha (from Santiago y Zaraiche in Murcia) and the Rancho Folclórico de Golegá (from Golebá in Portugal).

Admission to the event is free of charge.
