Los Alcazares Today is a website set up by Murcia Today specifically for residents of the urbanisation in Southwest Murcia, providing news and information on what’s happening in the local area, which is the largest English-speaking expat area in the Region of Murcia.
When submitting text to be included on Los Alcazares Today, please abide by the following guidelines so we can upload your article as swiftly as possible:
Send an email to editor@spaintodayonline.com or contact@murciatoday.com
Attach the information in a Word Document or Google Doc
Include all relevant points, including:
Who is the organisation running the event?
Where is it happening?
When?
How much does it cost?
Is it necessary to book beforehand, or can people just show up on the day?
…but try not to exceed 300 words
Also attach a photo to illustrate your article, no more than 100kb
October 3 to 5 Talented young artists from all over Murcia perform in Caravaca
The Estrenarte program brings a wealth of cultural activities to Caravaca de la Cruz
The annual Estrenarte festival of young creative talents in the Region of Murcia is being held this year in Caravaca de la Cruz from October 3 to 5 at a number of venues in the city.
The schedule for the three days is a fairly intensive one and is as follows:
Thursday October 3
19.00: Classical music concert at the La Soledad archaeological museum, together with a video mapping event. Guest performers are from the students of the Conservatorio Profesional de Música ‘Leandro Martínez Romero’ in Caravaca.
Friday October 4
18.00: A stage show at 18.00 in the enclosed patio of the former church of the Compañía de Jesús. The first part of the program is a drama performance, followed by contemporary dance.
Saturday October 5
12.30: The festival moves to the Plaza San Juan de la Cruz with DJ music all afternoon before pop-rock concerts beginning at 19.00.
