October 25 Open-air painting competition in Yecla

Painting for prizes in the streets and squares of the town of Yecla

The annual “Certamen Nacional de Pintura al Aire Libre” is being held in Yecla on Saturday 25^th October, when competitors will meet at 8.00 at the Escuela Municipal de Bellas Artes (Edificio Cespín, Avenida de la Feria 27) to take part in the all-day event.

Painting begins at 8.30 with the only category being the streets and squares of the town of Yecla, and competitors required to provide their own materials, with a minimum size of 70 cm and a maximum of 150 cm. Only one work per painter will be accepted when the paintings are handed in in the Plaza Mayor from 17.00 to 17.30, unsigned and on easels.

Prizes are awarded in the Plaza Mayor at 18.30 and the winning entries will then belong to the event organizers.
