October 18 Free family walk in the forest of Sierra Espuña
Children over 6 are welcome on this easy walk in the mountains of Alhama de Murcia!
One of the many activities included in the regional government’s “Mochila de Actividades programme for autumn 2026 is this free guided walk on Sunday 18th October in the pine forests of Sierra Espuña, beginning at 10.00 and expected to last for three hours or so.
The “La Vida en el Bosque” route is an easy one of only around 2.5 km and is suitable for children aged 6 and over. On the way, they and the rest of the family can enjoy the fresh air of the mountains and learn a little about an ecosystem with they are probably largely unfamiliar!
Registration for the event is free of charge and is available online here.
For more local events, news and visiting information contact the tourist office (telephone 968 633512) or go to the home page of Alhama Today.
