November 9 GastroCaritas, Caldero Day in Los Alcázares

Try the most iconic food of the Mar Menor with all proceeds going to charity!

The traditional day of cooking and eating Caldero on the beach of Los Alcázares was unfortunately a washout this year, as the daet of 12th October was immediately after the catastrophic rain which was brought to the area by Storm Alice, but a substitute of sorts is being held in the fell in the Plaza Manuel Floreal Menárguez on Sunday 9^th November at 12.00 – and the weather looks to be set fair!

Among the traditional food on offer, apart from Caldero, are Spanish ham and michirones (broad bean stew), as well as beverages. All money raised will be donated to the local branch of Cáritas to provide for families in need in the municipality.
