November 8 Comedy version of Don Juan Tenorio in Alhama de Murcia
The All Saints’ classic by José Zorrilla at the Teatro Cine Velasco in Alhama
Every year it is a longstanding tradition in Spain for the play “Don Juan Tenorio” to be performed on or around All Saints’ Day on 1st November, making this 1844 work by José Zorrilla by far the most seen drama in the country.
In an effort to intorduce younger audiences to the play, a comic version is being performed at the Teatro Cine Velasco in Alhama on Friday November 8, following the original plot but using updated language and plenty of amusing twists.
The performance begins at 20.00 with tickets on sale at only 5 euros.
