Christmas arrives at Parque Almenara this Friday November 28 when the shopping centre hosts its annual lights switch-on ceremony in the Central Plaza, ringing in the festive season with the help of a Lorca local choir and a well-loved charity tradition.

 

The event gets underway at 6.30pm with a performance from the choir of CEIP Andrés García Soler, whose voices will provide the soundtrack as the shopping centre illuminates for the season.

 

The ceremony will also include the presentation of the traditional charity calendar from the Down Lorca Association.

 

The lights switch-on has become one of the highlights of Lorca's Christmas calendar, drawing families and shoppers who want to experience that magical moment when the decorations come to life.
