November 13 The Youth Orchestra of Costa Rica in Lorca

Central American and music and universal classics at the Auditorio Margarita Lozano in Lorca

The Youth Orchestra of Costa Rica is currently touring Europe for the first time in 20 years and is playing a series of concerts in cities such as Madrid, Sevilla and Toledo as well as this one on Thursday 13^th November at the Auditorio Margarita Lozano in Lorca (open on weekday mornings from 11.00 to 14.00 and from Monday to Thursday 18.00 to 20.00).

The 79 members of the orchestra are following a great tradition which has seen the ensemble play at prestigious venues in countries such as USA, Italy and throughout central America, and on this occasion will be conducted by Andrés Salado. The programme will include music representing their homeland as well as universal classics such as Pictures at an Exhibition by Modest Mussorgsky.
