Los Alcazares Today is a website set up by Murcia Today specifically for residents of the urbanisation in Southwest Murcia, providing news and information on what’s happening in the local area, which is the largest English-speaking expat area in the Region of Murcia.
When submitting text to be included on Los Alcazares Today, please abide by the following guidelines so we can upload your article as swiftly as possible:

November 11 Remembrance Day observed on Camposol Sector C
Minutes silence to be observed at new Remembrance garden on Camposol Sector C
The Royal British Legion has announced that it will be holding a minute’s silence at the new Remembrance garden at 12.00 noon local time on Monday, November 11.
The new garden was commissioned by the Green fingers gardening group and is situated at the entrance to Sector C near the bridge over the rambla that seperates sectors B and C. It is on a raised platform and is adorned with a blanket of poppies, the soldier silhouettes from the previous garden and remembrance crosses, the sale of which has raised over €400 for the Royal British Legion in Spain to help ex-servicemen and women.
The Act of Remembrance is held in memory of The Armistice, an agreement to end the fighting of the First World War as a prelude to peace negotiations, the cease fire began at 11.00 am on the November 11, 1918, Armistice Day has come to be the time when all those who gave their lives in armed conflicts since 1914 are remembered.
