New tourist information point on the seafront in Santiago de la Ribera
San Javier takes its range of tourism attractions to the beach in Santiago!
The Town Hall department of Tourism in San Javier is opening a new summer tourist information point on the seafront Paseo Colón in Santiago de la Ribera, attending to enquiries and questions every day of the week until 15th September.
Councillor Estíbaliz Masegosa explains that the aim is to make both visitors and local residents aware of the attractions, events and facilities in the municipality throughout the summer by bringing the information to them where they tend to spend most time between June and September.
San Javier runs a similar tourist information point at Playa Mistral in La Manga del Mar Menor, and this summer both will be distributing a new leaflet with information about all of the beaches in the municipality, both in the Mar Menor and on the Mediterranean coastline of La Manga. Apart from the beaches, other aspects being promoted are water sports, golf, music, drama and of course the tasty local cuisine and gastronomy.
Opening times at the new information point are as follows:
Weekdays 9.00 to 14.00 and 18.00 to 21.00
Weekends and public holidays 10.00 to 13.00
