The Los Rosales Leisure Centre in Yecla has unveiled a brand-new beach volleyball court, now open to the public for the rest of the summer season.

 

The court, built with an investment of more than €35,000, features specialist sand and sports equipment designed specifically for beach volleyball. It’s available to use free of charge throughout August, but only for guests who have purchased access to the leisure centre’s swimming pools.

 

To encourage outdoor activity and boost use of the centre’s facilities, the court is being offered as an added bonus to paying pool visitors.

 

Reservations must be made in person at the front desk and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Slots are limited to same-day booking only.

 

Until August 10, the court will be open daily from 4.30pm to 8.30pm in 45-minute time slots. From August 11 onwards, the closing time will shift to 7.30pm.

 

The court is reserved strictly for beach volleyball use and must be booked by groups of between four and eight people. Players must be at least 14 years old. Children aged 10 to 13 may use the court only under the supervision of a responsible adult. Spectators and companions are not allowed inside the playing area.
