Mystery package sale returns to Murcia for the ultimate treasure hunt experience
Head to the Nueva Condomina in Murcia this week for an exciting lucky dip of thousands of misplaced online orders

Ever wondered what happens to all those online orders that never quite make it to their destinations? Well, here's your chance to find out. The wonderfully bonkers world of lost package sales is making a comeback and it's landing at Nueva Condomina Shopping Centre from Monday October 13 until Saturday the 18th.
Here's how it works. Somewhere out there in the vast universe of online shopping, millions of packages go astray every year. Maybe the address was wonky or perhaps the courier was having a bad day. Whatever the reason, roughly 12 million packages across Europe end up in limbo annually.
Rather than letting them gather dust or, worse, sending them off to landfill, clever companies like King Colis have turned the whole situation into a brilliant game of lucky dip for bargain hunters.
You'll find the pop-up shop in the central plaza on the ground floor, open from 3pm to 9pm on Monday and 11am to 9pm the rest of the week. You've got exactly 10 minutes to grab as many mystery packages as your heart desires. No peeking allowed, mind you. The parcels are sold completely sealed, so you won't have a clue whether you've bagged a brilliant bargain or a somewhat baffling item until you get home and tear into them.
The pricing is delightfully simple, if a bit unusual. Everything's sold by weight, so standard packages go for €1.99 per 100 grams, while premium ones will set you back €2.79 per 100 grams.
The standard selection comes from those big logistics platforms that handle imports from Asia for various European online shops, while the premium packages are the fancy stuff from the likes of Amazon, Rakuten and Cdiscount.
Even the company itself doesn't know what's inside each parcel, so everyone's in for a surprise.
