May 7 to 10 Imagina youth art festival in San Javier

The festival showcases diverse artistic genres including photography, sculpture, installations and live performances

The Imagina Festival returns to San Javier this May, with most of the events taking place between the 7th and the 10th, bringing the very best of the youth art scene to venues all over the town on the shore of the Mar Menor.

The prgramme of events is as follows:

Thursday May 7

11.00: Pasar de Pantalla, sculpture by “Ápices” at the Concejalía de Juventud.

19.30: San Javier Secuencia en Vivo, audivoisual creativity at the Concejalía de Juventud.

19.30: Art and tradition: The fabric of the community in an outlying district of San Javier, installation art at the Concejalía de Juventud.

19.30: San Javier and its Art, installation art at the Concejalía de Juventud.

19.30: Las Atocheras, sculpture at the Concejalía de Juventud.

Friday May 8

11.30 to 13.30: San Javier Secuencia en Vivo, audivoisual creativity continues in the Plaza de España.

13.00: Vestigio, an exhibition at the Town Hall of San Javier.

16.00: Respira, mural painting in the car park of Parque Almansa.

16.45: Movimiento Atemporal, mural painting at the Pitín football pitch in the municipal sports complex.

17.30: Laika, another mural painting at the Joaquín Carrión primary school.

Saturday May 9

11.30 to 13.30: San Javier Secuencia en Vivo, audivoisual creativity continues on Explanada Barnuevo in Santiago de la Ribera.

Sunday May 10

10.00: La Beata Moderna, comic book art at Casa Barnuevo in Santiago de la Ribera.

10.00: Azul, a workshop in the square of Pozo Aledo.

Poéticas de la Ruina, an exhibition at the Museo de San Javier.
