May 30 to June 15 Wildlife photography exhibition in Yecla
The winners among 200 entries in the annual competition are on display at the Casa de Cultura in Yecla
Following the 7th annual wildlife and Environmental photography competition which was held earlier this spring by the ANIDA association in Yecla, a selection of the entries is being exhibited from 30th May to 15th June at the Casa de Cultura (Calle España 37).
Over 200 entries were received during the competition, with photographers from 5 continents taking part! The images show a wide and varied sample of the flora and fauna of the north-west of the Region of Murcia as well as landscapes and other natural elements from different parts of the Iberian Peninsula, while in the category of Environmental Awareness there are pictures showing the effect of climate change on the planet with special emphasis on the area around Yecla.
The exhibition, which includes all the winning entries, can be visited on weekdays between 19.00 and 21.00 and at weekends between 10.00 and 13.00, while the prizegiving takes place on Friday May 30 at 19.30.
