May 24: Spend a perfect Sunday in Alicante with Raquel Tours Murcia
Beach, tapas, the Explanada and a stunning sunset, all from just €29 with door-to-door pick-up from your resort

If you're looking for a great day out this Sunday, Raquel Tours Murcia has just the thing. On May 24 they're heading to Alicante, one of the most beautiful cities on the Costa Blanca, and with just a few places remaining it's worth getting in touch sooner rather than later.
Alicante really does have it all. There's the gorgeous Postiguet Beach right in the heart of the city, the iconic Explanada de España with its famous colourful mosaic tiles and palm trees, a charming historic centre packed with tapas bars and terraces, and the whole lot sits beneath the dramatic Santa Bárbara Castle, which looks out over the coastline and makes for one of the most stunning views on the Mediterranean. And if you time it right, the sunset over the water is something pretty special.
The trip is designed as a free day, meaning you can spend your time however you like. Wander the old town, grab a long lunch on a terrace, head to the beach for a few hours or just soak up the atmosphere at your own pace. There's no set itinerary and no rushing around, which is exactly how a Sunday should be.
Transport is comfortable and door-to-door from your resort, and everyone who boards gets a chilled bottle of water to start the day off right. On the way home there's a fun raffle with small prizes, so hang onto the code on your snack bag packaging as that's your raffle number for the journey back.
Prices are €29 for adults and €20 for children, and if May 24 doesn't work for you, Raquel Tours has further Alicante day trips planned on June 5, June 19, August 2, August 16 and August 30, so there are plenty of chances to make the trip.
They're also running Sunday day trips to Benidorm from the Murcia resorts, so if you fancy a change of scenery along the Costa Blanca there's that option too.
Transport is included from a wide range of locations and resorts across Murcia and the wider Costa Cálida area. You can view the collection and drop-off points on their website, but arrangements can also sometimes be made from different locations with prior notice.
The talented team offers tours in English, Dutch, German, French, Italian and Spanish so no matter where you’re from, you’re sure to feel right at home with Murcia Tours.
To book or to arrange a pick-up from your location, get in touch on WhatsApp at +34 602 362 594 or visit www.raqueltoursmurcia.com.
