March 28-April 12 Spring comes alive at Terra Natura Murcia
Family crafts, games and stories included with entry at the Murcia wildlife park
Spring is in the air and Terra Natura Murcia is marking the season with two weeks of family activities from Saturday March 28 to Sunday April 12. If you are looking for a gentle way to enjoy the warmer days with children or grandchildren, the wildlife park has put together a programme of crafts, games and stories that come included with your ticket.Terra Natura Murcia is the much-loved zoo just outside the city, where you can stroll through natural habitats and see animals from all corners of the world. Over these spring weeks, they add some seasonal fun running daily from midday to 4pm (or 11am to 2pm on April 7). It is a relaxed way to spend time outdoors, blending animal encounters with creative play.
Activities in the first week (March 28 - April 5)
Head to the Wetland for flower-themed crafts where children can make:
- Handmade flowers
- Decorative flower mobiles
- Spring flower bouquets
In Plaza de los Leones, there is face painting paired with short Easter Bunny stories. While the little ones get creative with colours, a guide shares a fun tale to spark their imagination.
Activities in the second week (April 6-12)
The Wetland hosts Murcian countryside crafts including:
- Traditional hat or torch
- Sardine mosaic
- Parranda huertana designs
Plaza de los Leones comes alive with traditional games for all ages:
- Zarangollo race
- Huerta bowling
- Sack race
- “Dance like a farmer”
