March Madness at La Palmera Bar & Grill: great food, live entertainment and legendary Sunday roasts
The popular Los Urrutias venue is the perfect spot for Mother’s Day, Easter gatherings and relaxed meals with friends and family

March is shaping up to be a busy and exciting month at La Palmera Bar & Grill in Estrella de Mar, Los Urrutias, with plenty of great food, regular entertainment and a warm welcome waiting for locals, visitors and anyone looking for a lively place to spend time with friends and family.
With spring just around the corner and the Easter holidays not far away, it’s the perfect time to plan a visit. The bar continues its regular opening hours from 12 noon until midnight Tuesday to Sunday, closing only on Mondays.UK Mother’s Day is also coming up on Sunday March 15, so anyone hoping to spoil mum with a proper Sunday lunch will be pleased to hear there is still availability. Whether you’re celebrating with family visiting from the UK or simply gathering friends together for a relaxed afternoon, La Palmera’s famous Sunday roast is always a big hit.
As always, the venue has a packed weekly schedule to keep things lively throughout the month:

- Tuesday: Quingo at 3pm
- Wednesday: Prize bingo at 3pm
- Thursday: Tapas-style free food on the bar for all drink-buying customers between 5pm and 7pm
- Friday: Happy hour from 5pm to 7pm with half-price draught beer, house wine and spirits, plus three-for-two on selected bottled beers. Don’t miss the Fishy Friday food special
- Saturday: Super Saturday Soccer on large screens throughout the bar
- Sunday: Traditional Sunday roast served with all the classic trimmings
Food worth coming back for

Food is at the heart of everything at La Palmera and the menu offers something for every appetite. The Sunday roast continues to be a firm favourite, with a choice of beef, pork, chicken or pre-ordered lamb shanks, all served with Yorkshire puddings, seasonal vegetables and rich gravy from just €9.95. Larger portions are also available for anyone feeling extra hungry.
The €10 Menu del Día runs Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday from 12pm until 9pm and includes starter, main course, dessert and tea or coffee, making it one of the best value meals around.
For something a little different, the smoked roast boards remain hugely popular. Available in 2 Bob, 3 Bob or 4 Bob sizes, these generous sharing platters include slow-smoked brisket, ribs, chicken, roast potatoes, vegetables, Yorkshire puddings and plenty of rich Guinness gravy.
All-day breakfasts are served from 12pm Tuesday to Saturday, with lunch and evening meals available from 12pm until 9pm.
With Easter approaching and plenty happening every week, La Palmera Bar & Grill is the perfect place to meet up, enjoy great food and make the most of the spring season.
