March 7 to 22 Fiestas in honour of San José in the Torre Pacheco village of Roldán
Roldán celebrates the fiestas of its patron saint in the heart of Costa Cálida golf country!
The March fiestas in the Torre Pacheco village of Roldán (right next door to the golf resorts of La Torre Golf Resort and Las Terrazas de la Torre Golf Resort), which culminate in the celebration of the feast day of San José (St Joseph), get under way on Saturday 7th March and continue right up to the saint’s feast day on Thursday 19th.
The programme for the 2026 edition of the fiestas includes the following:
Saturday March 7
20.00: A flamenco gala in the tiny hamlet of Lo Ferro at the Centro Cultural Sebastián Escudero.
22.30: Another gala, this time in the fiestas marquee, with music by Orquesta and the election of the Fiestas Queen for 2026.
Sunday March 8
14.00: A lunch is held by the “Caballeros de San José” brotherhood in the fiestas marquee.
Thursday March 12
A padel tournament begins at Oasis Sport.
Saturday March 14
22.30: The official crowning of the Fiestas Queen at another gala in the fiestas marquee, with music from Orquesta Pentagrama and DJs.
Sunday March 15
16.30: A macro-raffle at the fiestas marquee.
Wednesday March 18
11.00: Mass is held at the Day Centre of Roldán.
18.30: An offering of flowers and non-perishable foodstuffs for the local branch of the Cáritas charity for those in need.
19.00: Mass in honour of San José.
23.00: A night of entertainment and fun in the fiestas marquee with Destello Show.
Thursday March 19
8.00: The church bells in the village are tolled to announce the feast day of San José.
9.00: A Mass is held to remember those recently passed away.
9.30: A musical parade through the village, featuring the Banda de la Unión Musical de Torre-Pacheco.
12.00: Mass in honour of San José.
19.00: The figure of San José is carried in procession around the village.
21.00: Celebratory fireworks !
Saturday March 21
20.00: Another flamenco gala at the Centro Cultural Sebastián Escudero in Lo Ferro.
Sunday March 22
10.00: Charity walk to raise funds for next year’s fiestas, starting with the collection of participation numbers and setting out at 11.00 from the Pabellón Gabriel Pérez.
13.00: Tapas, before participants are invited to share a giant paella at 14.00. This is followed by music and other entertainment.
