March 7 Dilo Reina, an alternative view of the history of drama at the seafront auditorium in Águilas

¡Dílo, Reina! at the Auditorio Infanta Doña Elena in Águilas

This off-the-wall review of the history of drama tells the story of two 17^th century actresses, La Calderona and La Baltasara, who are faced with a situation in which all plays featuring leading female characters have been eliminated, and they need to complete their mission (“Dílo, Reina!”) by portraying leading ladies from the history of the theatre.

This takes the audience on a madcap journey through characters from Medea (taken from the Ancient Greek works of Eurypides) to Donna from Mamma Mia!

The show on 7^th March begins at 20.00 with tickets available at 7 euros online here, or in person at the archaeological museum, the Casa de la Cultura or at the box office of the auditorium.
