For Friday March 7, Age Concern Costa Cálida has organised a guided walk around the abandoned mines of Mazarrón.This is a chance to learn about the area's mining history and to discover this unique local monument. The meeting place is at the mines themselves at 11am, and the tour will last around 2 hours.
Tickets cost €5 per person, but spaces are limited so it is recommended to book well in advance.
