This Valentine’s Day was marked with warmth and affection at Caser Residencial Santo Ángel, where residents and day centre visitors from the International Unit came together to celebrate love in all its forms.

 

The centre was filled with hearts and love-themed decorations, some of which were prepared by the residents and centre users themselves, and a special meal was prepared to make the occasion feel truly memorable.

 

The celebration also included the sharing of “letters filled with memories, affection and kind words,” according to the team at Santo Ángel.

 

The International Unit at Santo Ángel is dedicated to English-speaking residents and other foreign nationals who may not feel comfortable communicating in Spanish. By offering care and activities in their own language, the unit helps elderly residents to feel understood, supported and at home, while encouraging integration with the wider community within the centre.

 

That’s why this Valentine’s Day was about far more than a themed event, “because love, in all its forms, always finds its place here,” as the Caser Residencial team said.
