Lifeguard service up and running at 3 Los Alcázares beaches

More lifeguard points will open in Los Alcázares on 1^st July

The summer has begun in earnest at three of the beaches of Los Alcázares on the shore of the Mar Menor, with lifeguard posts now manned every day between 11.00 and 19.00 until the end of the high season.

The beaches where the lifeguards are now stationed are those of Los Narejos, Las Palmeras and Playa Manzanares, while the remainder of the 7-kilometre coastline of Los Alcázares will be covered as of 1^st July, according to Councillor María José Benzal. All lifeguard posts are equipped to offer not only the standard beach vigilance in case bathers should experience difficulties in the water, but also an assisted bathing service for the physically impaired.

In addition, jetskis and kayaks are at their disposal to help with potential rescue situations.
