La Palmera Bar and Grill: Authentic flavours in the heart of Estrella de Mar
From hearty breakfasts to unforgettable roasts, Estrella de Mar’s favourite spot has it all

La Palmera Bar and Grill in Estrella de Mar, Murcia, has built a well-earned reputation as one of the area’s favourite dining spots. Known for its welcoming atmosphere, smoky barbecue flavours and varied menu, this is a restaurant that combines authenticity, taste and tradition.
Located at Calle Adelfas 1, the restaurant is easy to find and offers free parking, making it a convenient choice for locals and visitors. Guests can enjoy a spacious outdoor terrace perfect for dining al fresco, while inside they will find a lively bar with multiple TVs, a pool table and a regular programme of live music and entertainment.
For special occasions, La Palmera also caters for private celebrations and parties. More leisurely visitors can take advantage of the bowls green, open daily for a relaxed game in the sun.
Opening hours and weekly highlights

La Palmera is open from Tuesday to Sunday and closed on Mondays. Their all-day breakfast is served from 10am (no breakfasts on Sundays), while the daily menu is available from 12 noon untill 9pm.
The restaurant is particularly popular for its value-packed specials. From Tuesday to Friday, diners can enjoy a three-course meal for only €10. The menu changes regularly so you’ll be sure to find something delicious to tickle your tastebuds.

The heart of La Palmera is its kitchen, where the team specialises in smoked meats and hearty flavours. Signature dishes include the rich and tender smoked beef brisket, slow-cooked to perfection, as well as the ever-popular pulled pork.
The smoked roasts board, available on Sundays from 2.30pm, has also become a house favourite. Featuring a selection of smoked brisket, ribs and chicken, this feast is served with roasted potatoes, seasonal vegetables, Yorkshire pudding and Guinness gravy.

Dessert lovers can ask the staff about the day’s sweet treats, while allergy information is always available on request.
Start the day at La Palmera

Breakfast at La Palmera is another highlight. The La Palmera Breakfast is a hearty and flavourful way to start the day, featuring fresh ingredients and classic favourites that keep guests coming back again and again.
Sunday roasts

Sundays at La Palmera are all about those incredible smoked roast boards that have become the stuff of local legend. The kitchen team slow-smokes succulent beef brisket, fall-off-the-bone ribs and tender chicken, then serves it all up on sharing platters alongside perfectly roasted potatoes and vegetables, fluffy Yorkshire puddings and rich Guinness gravy.
The boards come in three sizes: the 2 Bob Board at €33, the 3 Bob Board at €45 or go all out with the 4 Bob Board at €60.
Fancy making it even more indulgent? Add some creamy cauliflower cheese for €3 or treat yourself to Charlie's Treat for €2.
And don't forget to ask the staff about their daily dessert options to finish off your feast properly.
Regular live entertainment

La Palmera knows how to keep the party going with their fantastic line-up of regular entertainment. You'll find silent discos where you can dance the night away to your own beat, live music that gets everyone singing along, and dance classes that are guaranteed to have you laughing and moving (even if you've got two left feet).
But the real highlight has to be Quingo every Tuesday. If you've never experienced Quingo before, you're in for a treat – it's the brilliant fusion of quiz and bingo that's taken Spain by storm. It's competitive, hilarious and the perfect way to test your knowledge while having a proper laugh with friends.
