If you're looking for a fun day out with a good cause at the heart of it, Age in Spain has just the thing. The registered charity is hosting a Charity Fun Day at La Manga Adventure Golf on Wednesday June 10 and it's shaping up to be a really lovely occasion.

 

Getting through the gates costs just €3 and from there you can make the day as full or as relaxed as you like.

 

A round of 18-hole adventure golf is just €11, there's an optional lunch available on the day and a raffle draw with some seriously good prizes to look forward to. If you fancy something a little different, there's also a drum circle on offer for €10 and an artisan ceramics stall to browse, with all proceeds from both going directly to Age in Spain.

 

The raffle is stacked with donations from local businesses and individuals, including a €50 voucher from Carpio Butchers, a €25 voucher from Carpio English Sausage Co., cod and chips for four from Ruby's Plaice and two breakfast-for-four vouchers from Yemanja.

 

Book lovers are in with a chance of winning two signed copies of Jane Corry's new novel and there's also a ladies' daily sports shirt, a painting of the La Manga Strip, a bottle of whisky courtesy of the 4 Dogs Band, two €30 beauty vouchers from Beauty in One and an outdoor thermometer.

 

Two rounds of 18-hole adventure golf, two flights in an Alpi Pioneer P300 plane with Dave Stansfield, a €40 lunch voucher for Los Molinos Restaurante and a €50 reflexology voucher from Julie Cannon round out a pretty impressive prize list.

 

Entrance tickets and raffle tickets are available from the Palm Lounge and the artisan ceramics stall on the day.
