June 6 to 8 Medieval market in Jumilla
All the fun of the fair in the picturesque old town of Jumilla
The annual medieval market in Jumilla is being held this year between Friday 6th and Sunday 8th June, with a host of live entertainments and activities taking place in the streets of the old town around the Arco de San Roque alongside the stalls offering a wide range of products.
The market stalls open on the Friday from 18.00 to midnight and on both Saturday and Sunday from 11.00 to 14.00 and 18.00 to midnight.
The schedule for the weekend includes the following:
Friday June 6
18.00: The market opens with wandering minstrels, stilt walking and puppet shows.
18.00: Casket and face painting workshops for children.
19.15: “Seres del bosque” street parade.
20.15: Vikings and acrobatics display.
20.30: Falconry display.
21.00: Music from Los Lobos Salvajes and Vendaval Folk.
Saturday June 7
11.00: The market opens and casket and face painting workshops begin for children.
11.30: Puppets on stilts.
12.00: Music with Vendaval Folk.
13.15: Falconry display.
18.00: “Seres del bosque” street parade.
18.30: Music with Vendaval Folk.
19.15 and 20.15: Falconry displays.
20.00: Music with Vendaval Folk.
Sunday June 8
11.00: The market opens and casket and face painting workshops begin for children.
11.30: La Bestia y su Domadora, Street entertainment.
13.15, 19.15 and 20.15: Falconry displays.
19.00: “Seres del bosque” street parade.
20.00: Vikings and acrobatics display.
22.00: The market ends.
