June 29 Open water swimming competition in San Javier
Dive into summer at the San Javier Beaches Swim Crossing

If you’re looking for the perfect excuse to hit the beach and test your stamina in the open sea, the San Javier Beaches Swim Crossing on Sunday June 29 is the event for you.
Now in its twentieth edition, this much-loved competition takes place at the Mediterranean beach by the Municipal Sports Centre of La Manga del Mar Menor and promises a great day for swimmers of all levels.
Whether you are a seasoned swimmer or just love a challenge, this event has something for everyone with three distances to choose from. Take on the 800 metre, 2,000 metre or 4,000 metre race, all part of the FNRM Regional Open Water League.
The first race kicks off at 9.30am, followed shortly after by the second start at 10am. It’s a fantastic day for competitors and spectators alike, set against the stunning backdrop of the Mar Menor.
Clubs are encouraged to get involved and can register as many swimmers as they like. To be eligible for league points, swimmers must be officially federated on the day of the event.
Registration closes on June 26 and there will be no sign-ups on the day, so don’t leave it too late.

Prices
- 800 metre race: €13 for FNRM federated members, €15 for non-federated members
- 2,000 metre race: €15 for FNRM federated members, €20 for non-federated members
- 4,000 metre race: €18 for FNRM federated members, €22 for non-federated members
