June 20-August 30 Go wild after dark at Terra Natura's Light Safari in Murcia
Take a magical summer night walk through the African savannah, without having to leave Spain!

Every Friday and Saturday night from June 20 to August 30 , the zoo opens its gates after dark, letting visitors explore the African and wetland areas of the park in a whole new light... quite literally! It’s all beautifully lit up, with winding paths, exotic animals and plenty of surprises along the way.
You can arrive from 8pm, and the adventure runs until midnight. Kick things off with a birds of prey talk at 8.15pm, then set off on your self-guided walk through the park’s African zone. Expect lights, atmosphere and a peaceful summer vibe that feels a world away from the usual zoo visit.
From the Chiqui area (kids’ zone) to the aviary, the route is lined with glowing lights, greenery and unexpected delights around every corner. Whether you’re going with the grandkids, planning a relaxed evening with friends, or enjoying a different kind of date night, it’s a spectacular way to experience
African wildlife in a whole new setting.
- Tickets: €15 per person
- Kids under 3: Free
- Where to buy: Online or at the ticket office before 8pm
Note: This event doesn’t include full daytime park access (only African area)
And if your little ones are full of energy, Terra Natura’s summer holiday clubs for kids and teens could be just the thing to keep them entertained by day too: packed with fun activities, learning and adventure.
No problem is you’re feeling peckish, too, as food and drink are available all evening:
- Wetlands Snack Bar (8.30pm–12.00am): pizza, hotdogs, milkshakes, ice cream
- Carnivore Restaurant (9.00pm–11.00pm): full menu
- Lunatic Bar (7.00pm–1.00am): cocktails and soft drinks
Whether you're planning a fun family night out, a date with a difference, or just fancy doing something a bit more special than sitting on the sofa, Light Safari ticks all the boxes!
It’s unique, it’s affordable, and it’s right on your doorstep in Murcia. So why not book now and experience the zoo like you’ve never seen it before?
