June 19 and 20 the Noches del Camino music festival in Caravaca
David Bisbal and Ana Torroja top the bill at the largest single summer event in north-west Murcia!
The Noches del Camino music festival in Caravaca is being held for only the third time this year but it has already become one of the largest, if not the largest summer event in the north-west of the Region of Murcia, having brought over 15,000 visitors to the city during its first two editions.
When you think of a music festival, in this instance please don't imagine people camping out in a muddy field! This one is held in the beautiful gardens of the Huertos del Vicario, at the magnificent castle-basilica which stands on the hill overlooking the city of Caravaca, and at the local fairground, and rather than welcoming visitors in tents the event tends to be a great boost for hotels and other accommodation in the area!
This year's bill is headed by popular singer David Bisbal (a national star since being a finalist in the first edition of the Spanish talent show Operación Triunfo in 2000), Ana Torroja (former vocalist of the 1980s and 90s Spanish mega-group Mecano), Barry B, Carlos Sadness, Rata, Depedro, with other artists completing the line-up, and although some might fear that the festival is out of step with the monumental churches and buildings of Caravaca, Noches de Camino turns them into a memorable backdrop for the concerts held. This is certainly born out in the scheduling for the 2026 edition!
Tickets are now available online here at prices of 22 euros for 19th June and 48 euros for 20th June, and a limited number can also be purchased from the local tourist office in person. However, to make a weekend of it, why not hang around till Sunday and enjoy the activities at the Huertos del Vicario!
