June 14 Marina Day 2025 in La Manga del Mar Menor
A celebration of sea, family, food and fun at the Tomás Maestre Marina in La Manga

Tomás Maestre Marina is preparing to welcome locals and visitors to celebrate Marina Day 2025 on Saturday June 14, a full day dedicated to the sea, culture, good food and great company. Following the success of the recent Carburo de Plata Solidarity Regatta, the Marina is now turning its focus to this family-friendly event packed with activities for all ages.
The celebration begins at 11am with a heartfelt tribute to Spain’s State Security and Emergency Forces, followed by a wide range of nautical experiences including sailing school boat trips, tourist boat rides and a spectacular lateen sail regatta. At the same time, guests can enjoy tastings of beer, ham and grilled sardines at El Pulpito Restaurant.
From 1pm, food lovers can set off on the Tapas Route, where participating restaurants will offer a tapa and drink for just €3.50. For children, the day brings adventure with a sport fishing contest on the Poniente breakwater, with prizes awarded in the afternoon.
Schedule of events
11am: Opening ceremony and tribute to State Security Forces and Emergency Services.
12pm onwards: Sailing School boat trips, tourist boat trips with Palmavisión, beer tasting, ham tasting (by Supercor), sardine grill at El Pulpito restaurant.
1pm: Tapas route begins at participating restaurants.
1pm: Lateen Sailing Regatta - departure from Mistral Beach, near the Paquebote.
4pm: Lateen Sail Regatta trophy ceremony.
4pm: Children’s sport fishing contest organised with Albacora Sports Fishing Club.
6.30pm: Children’s sport fishing contest awards ceremony.
9pm: Shipowners’ Dinner – To reserve, email administración@puertomaestre.com
Important Notes
- Registration for the crew lunch closes at 2pm on June 12. (Up to 4 people per boat under 33 feet, and up to 6 people for boats over 33 feet)
- Only members and users in good standing (with no outstanding dues) may participate, in accordance with Article 10 of the association’s statutes
