Terra Natura Murcia is set to launch a fresh take on one of its most popular evening events. The long-standing Candlelight Night, first introduced in 2017, has been reimagined as Lights Night for this year, bringing with it a renewed focus on atmosphere, gastronomy and live music.

 

This year’s edition will take place on Thursday 13 June from 9.30pm until 1.30am.

 

While candles will still be part of the visual experience, the park will also feature a vibrant display of backlit figures, garlands and spotlights. Visitors can expect a more immersive and festive setting throughout the evening.

 

The musical line-up includes live performances by Acustíssimo, Laly y Bertsax and El Sótano del Doctor. Alongside the entertainment, the event will feature several food stations offering a wide range of tapas and snacks, including cheeses, sushi and yummy jamón ibérico.

 

Each entrance ticket costs €40 per person and includes access to the entire route with special lighting, performances and a card with 4 tapas, 4 drinks and an extra (which can be either a tapa or a drink).

 

To build anticipation, a street marketing activity is planned for 31 May. Hidden tickets to the event will be placed around Murcia city centre, with clues to their locations shared on the park’s Facebook and Instagram.

 

Park Director Gustavo Martínez has invited all animal lovers to take part in the event: “This is an opportunity to experience the park in a different way, during a unique night where music and gastronomy are the main protagonists.”

 

The Lights Night will also mark the beginning of a new summer initiative. Starting from June and throughout the whole summer, Terra Natura Murcia will offer evening tours through its African area every Friday and Saturday. These illuminated walks will allow guests to enjoy the park in a new light, with the option to extend their visit at two on-site restaurants open for the occasion.
