Jumilla tourist attractions distinguished with awards for quality
The awards allow the town to become more competitive and sustainable when it comes to tourism

Tourist attractions in Jumilla have been awarded distinctions by the Murcia regional government to certify the continual improvement of their attention to visitors and the quality of their services.
The municipality, which is renowned for its winemaking industry, received a total of 11 SICTED awards in this edition of the scheme promoted by the secretary of state for tourism.
SICTED, the Sistema Integral de Calidad Turística Española en Destinos, is a system of rating quality in Spanish tourist destinations.
Receiving the award for the first time were the Casa Almendro holiday home, the local music and arts centre (Casa de la Música y Legado de las Artes), the municipal tourism office, and the Bodegas Luzón, Silvano García and Viña Elena.
Furthermore, SICTED certification was renewed until December 2026 for tour guide Ana López Martínez, Bodegas BSI, the Wine Museum (Museo del Vino) and the museum of the Roque Molera brotherhood of the Easter fiestas, as well as the Loreto restaurant.
All of these successfully passed the required quality control audits in the past year, in return for which they were presented with diplomas and plaques by Mayor Seve González and regional government tourism chief Eva María Reverte.
Mayor González noted that these awards not only recognise the quality of the services they offer to visitors, but also “the effort and dedication of Jumilla’s tourism sector to keep improving and offering an excellent experience to visitors”.
The SICTED scheme also enables the municipality to consolidate its reputation as a competitive and sustainable tourist destination, she added.
