The ‘Semana de la Gastronomía Sostenible por el Mar Menor’ – Sustainable Gastronomy Week for the Mar Menor – is taking place in various localities around the Mar Menor and Murcia from Friday July 4 to Friday July 11, including Los Alcázares, Cartagena and Corvera.

They continue, “From the AgrosimbiosisLab project, they create synergies with local chefs, in particular with the Eurotoques association, to promote a network of Sustainable Restaurants, committed to the territory and health. A network that is committed to the use of agro-ecological products from the Mar Menor catchment area, to contribute to the socio-economic development and conservation of the lagoon; [and] for the recovery and valorisation of local varieties in danger of extinction; and research into the possible culinary uses of species and varieties with the potential to adapt to climate change.”
