San Javier Town Council is looking for a company to install public Wi-Fi in outdoor areas as part of a project to improve tourism using European funds. This initiative is part of the San Javier Sustainable Tourism Destination Plan, which aims to modernise the municipality and strengthen its tourism sector.

 

The contract will cover the supply, installation and commissioning of Wi-Fi in key locations. The free public network will give visitors easy access to the internet and help the council gather information on how tourists use the area.

 

This data will allow the municipality to make better decisions and improve services for visitors.

 

San Javier wants to offer a smarter tourism experience by using technology to provide better connectivity at major attractions. The project is fully funded by the European Union through the NextGenerationEU programme and will not receive other EU funding to avoid duplication.
