Football events on and around Condado de Alhama in 2026
It’s set to be a busy year for the resort with loads of competitions and friendlies taking place

A packed calendar of grassroots football tournaments, training camps and tours is planned for Condado de Alhama this year, promising a welcome boost for the local community thanks to Condado Futbol.
The organisation, run by Neil Andrews, works with football clubs from the UK and across Europe to bring organised sporting events to the area. These visits support not just the resort itself, but also nearby bars, restaurants and businesses throughout the year, including outside the peak summer season.
Men’s football
Among the highlights for 2026 are Men’s Walking Football events on April 15 for over-50s and April 22 for over-60s, with more than 30 teams and over 300 players staying at Condado while matches are played at the Complejo Deportivo Mazarrón.
Veterans football tournaments are also planned from April to June, covering age groups including over-50s (April 25-26), over-35s (May 9-10) and over-60s (June 6-7). These events alone are expected to attract around 48 teams and more than 600 players, coaches and spectators.
Women’s football
Women’s football will feature in September, with an Open Age event of September 26 and an over-40s Walking Football event on September 27 expected to bring over 200 players to the resort.
In June, from 9-16, several clubs will also take part in organised tours, playing matches against Spanish opposition.
Children’s football
Youth football camps remain a major part of the Condado Futbol yearly programme, with Easter and Summer camps welcoming around 700 children aged 7 to 16.
This year, the Easter Camp is taking place from March 30-April 10, while the Summer Camp runs from July 20 to August 28.
Anyone wanting to sign up for these camps, or find out more about any of the football events taking place this year, can contact Neil Andrews via email on neil@condadofutbol.com.
