Four colourful days of costumes, crafts and fun await families at the Murcia zoo's special Animal Carnival

Over two weekends, on February 7-8 and 14-15, the park turns into a riot of colour, feathers and laughter with its Animal Carnival. What to expect at Animal Carnival
Dust off those costumes and head over for non-stop entertainment. Everyone's invited to dress up and dive into the celebrations. Here's what's on offer:
- Face painting extravaganza: From 11am to 1.30pm in Plaza de los Leones, let the kids (or you!) transform into their favourite animals with vibrant, feathery Carnival designs. It's a hit with all ages.
- Creative craft sessions: Running 12.30pm to 4.30pm at the Wetland, get hands-on making Carnival souvenirs to take home. A lovely way to spark some imagination.
- Pedal car circuit: From 2pm to 4.30pm, also in the Wetland, the little speed demons can race around the track and burn off some energy.
- Inflatable castle fun: Between 2.30pm and 4.30pm in Plaza de los Leones, bouncing awaits. You'll be smiling just watching them leap about.
