February 27-March 29 Jumilla celebrates a month of activities for International Women's Day
The northern Murcia town has announced a wide array of activities and events to mark 8M
The Department of Social Policy of the town of Jumilla presented the events and activities that have been organised to mark International Women's Day 2025, which is commemorated around the world on March 8 every year.
This year's programme in Jumilla is billed as a very broad and ambitious one that is being organised together with the departments of Sports and Culture.
To participate in any of the activities below, it will be necessary to register as indicated in the programme of events. Tickets for the Teatro Vico can be purchased on the website reservas.jumilla.org.
Thursday February 27
- 7pm: Round table discussion in Spanish at the Julián Santos music auditorium on Women and Sport.
Monday March 3
- 7pm-8pm: Free aquagym class at the swimming pool. To sign up, fill in and submit this Google form.
Tuesday March 4
- 10am-12pm: Free line dancing class at the Carlos García municipal centre. To sign up, fill in and submit this Google form.
- 7pm: Workshop conducted by the IMAS Senior Center and the Women's Network of Jumilla with carnival themed Women and Masks.
Wednesday March 5
- 6pm-8pm: Free pickleball class from the tennis club (two 1-hour sessions) at the Carlos García municipal centre. To sign up, fill in and submit this Google form.
Thursday March 6
- 6pm-8pm: Free personal defence class from the tennis club (two 1-hour sessions) at the Carlos García municipal centre. To sign up, fill in and submit this Google form.
