February 2 Arrullo children’s drama in Jumilla
Arrullo, presented by the La Púa Escénica company, is a dramatization for children aged 5 and over of the local Jumilla legend of the Monte de los Hermanillos, adapted by Quino Tomás.
The story goes that there were once 4 brothers living in the area of the Monastrell vineyards in Jumilla and one day three of them murdered the other, for reasons which are not clear. Their divine punishment was to be forever turned to stone, and there they stand, three rocky meaks marking the skyline of the sierra.
The performance at the Teatro Vico in Jumilla on February 2 begins at 18.00 with tickets available at 5 euros online here.
